What if dreams don't come true? Don't worry, there's always plan B (or C... or Z)”

Getting older teaches us a great truth: not all dreams come true.
Some just stay there, hanging like faded post-its on the refrigerator of the soul.
Did you want to be an astronaut?
You settled for orbiting Zoom calls.
Did you dream of opening a bistro in Provence?
Now open Excel at 9:00 and close Outlook at 18:00.
But don't panic!
Unfulfilled dreams are like those dresses that are too beautiful to be thrown away: they stay there, they take up space, but every now and then you look at them and say to yourself "maybe one day...".
In the meantime, however, you move forward.
Because a career, like life, is also made up of unexpected events, compromises and meetings that could have been emails.
Your personal dream of traveling around the world? Today you're going around the neighborhood with your dog. Your dream of changing the world?
You've changed your telephone operator, which is something.
And that’s okay.
Because even if dreams don’t come true, at least they keep you moving.
And as you chase the next one, you realize that maybe — while chasing the moon — you’ve stumbled upon something surprisingly real.
Like happiness.
Or a good Wi-Fi connection.
So no, not all dreams come true.
But at least we can laugh about it.
And maybe turn them into viral LinkedIn posts.
